What is personal data and what is this policy all about?
Personal data is any information that could tell us who you are or things about you. To keep it simple, we’ll keep calling this “information” in the rest of this policy. This could be your name, your age or your email address. It could also be other information specific to you, like the way you use the game, or techy information about your phone or computer.
This policy talks about how we use your information to make sure you can use Madoka Magica properly.
We will also tell you about your rights, such as your right to look at, change, correct or delete information we hold about you. More on that later.
What kind of information do you collect about me?
Sometimes, you give us your information. This will be things like your email address, what country you live in, your date of birth, your username and your account ID. You may also choose to give us certain preference information such as who your favourite character is.
When you have to give us information, we make sure you know we need it when you give it to us. If you don’t give us that information, it might mean you can’t use Madoka Magica properly.
What kind of ‘technical’ information do you collect from me?
Sometimes, we collect ‘technical’ information from you automatically or use other companies to help us do this. These are the kind of things we need to make sure Madoka Magica works in the best way for you.
This will include things like the name of the company that provides your internet, the type of web browser you are using or information about your phone or computer. If you’re interested in the nuts and bolts of this kind of techy information, or want your parent/guardian to check what this is all about, there are more details in the
full Privacy Policy.
If we don’t need the information we collect, but it is useful for us, we will usually ask for your permission to collect it.
How do you collect that information?
Where we or other companies automatically collect the information we’ve mentioned above, special technologies are used to do this. These include cookies (not the tasty kind). Cookies are often used to remember useful information and can help you use Madoka Magica. You might be able to block the use of certain cookies if you want to. You can sometimes use our cookie consent tool do this. However, note that if you choose to block some cookies, some features of Madoka Magica may not work properly.

If you buy things from Madoka Magica, sometimes you might be sent to another company’s site to complete your purchase. It will be obvious when you leave us to go onto one of these other sites. You should look out for a link to that company’s own privacy policy so you can see how they use your information. We only get information back from that company which allows us to complete your purchase.

Where these are public channels, this could include users you may not be directly speaking to. You can speak to your parent or guardian about this, or for more detail, see the
